RAMADHIN COLLEGE, SHEIKHPURA was established in 1969. It was established by Late Sri. Rajo Singh, a member of Parliament, a visionary, mass Leader and the creator of Sheikhpura District, with the help of intellectuals, social activist & common people of Sheikhpura. Sri Rajo Singh was the founder secretary of the college and continued to the post till the conversion of the college into a contituent unit of T. M. Bhagalpur University, Bhagalpur.
RAMADHIN COLLEGE was named after the name of Shri Ramadhin Singh, village – Abgil, P.S. – Sheikhpura, who was a man of wisdom, a social thinker and a great affluent farmer. His contribution in the field of knowledge is immense and setup a milestone in education. The college become a constituent unit of T.M. Bhagalpur University, Bhagalpur on 12th of December 1980.
AFFILIATION: The college has affiliation in Arts & Science Faculty From Intermediate to Graduation with Honours. The subjects in Arts Faculty are: Hindi, English, Urdu, Sanskrit, Political Science, History, Economics, Philosophy, Geography, Industrial Relation & Personal Management (IRPM), Physiology. In Science Faculty the Subjects are: Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, & Mathematics.
There is a study-center of Nalanda Open University (NOU) in the college campus. NOU is providing facility of studying One Hundred and Fifty subjects from Intermediate to Post Graduate and Ph. D., including Professional courses through distance mode. The center started functioning from session 2014. NOU has its own Prospectus which is available in College study center.
Affiliation of B.C.A. & B.B.A. Courses: T.M. Bhagalpur University, Bhagalpur has granted affiliation to B.B.A. & B.C.A. and classes will start from 2015 session.
